LeBron James has had a monoply over the Eastern conference, going to seven straight NBA Finals. On the other side, Boston and Toronto look like formidable opponents to challenge LeBron's crown over the Eastern conference. Let's talk about the best possible first round matchup that we can see in the East.
Let me talk about the matchup I want to most see in the first round of the Eastern conference playoffs.
This series needs to happen. I mean on one side the favourite to win the series and the better team led by the best player in the NBA LeBron James. On the other side, the up and coming team who is knocking on the door being led by someone who wants to be the next face of the league, the Greek Freak. The best vs the next one. What a series it would be, reminding us of a young LeBron James struggling against the Celtics as he battled for supremicy. Now the flipped switch of James on top and Giannis fighting to take the best down. I mean that's just a big storyline we need. The Cavs three time eastern conference champs against the new kids on the block. So far this season whenever they have played it hasn't dissapointed. Both James and Giannis at the top of their games battling it out fighting for NBA supremicy. Now imagine that over the span of 7 games with more on the line than a regular season win.
